Kalisha Smith
My journey began at the mere age of 8 months. It was my first time on an airplane and throughout the years, spending every summer in Barbados became second nature. Barbados was my second home. By the age of 21, I traveled to various different United States and set my eye on the goal of traveling to different countries by 30!
Israel, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Curacao, Aruba, St. Thomas (USVI), Bermuda, SXM, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico to name a few of the destinations I have been fortunate to explore in my lifetime. At 29, I took a group of ladies out the country on a group trip and it was then that I realized the true gift and gold travel affords many. Many of the ladies have never been out of the country. Others, have never had the experience of being around so many people and having magical moments. I know, this was something I wanted to do and feel continuously, so I became a Travel Agent.
Therapist by day, Travel Curator by night! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State and I have continued to position myself as an advocate for self-care through travel and wellness activities. I pride myself on curating solo, couple and group experiences designed to help individuals live their best lives and spark happiness and joy that may have dwindled from burnout.
I am an all-inclusive Caribbean specialist, certified Jamaica Specialist and love of all things beach, sun and fun! More recently,
I’ve ventured back into planning group trips that mirror group processing where individuals energy transacts to spark bliss amongst one another.
As a therapist, it is important for me to maintain authenticity and engage in activities that foster a sense of fulfillment. My joys in life include helping others take trips to help them shift from moments of overwhelm and reset their minds to gain clarity and own their self worth.
We all owe it to ourselves to smile constantly and life a rewarding life. Work, responsibilities, and everything else will always be there!
